oink.

Been pretty pouty-pants about having gained weight recently. I was training for football about a year ago+was in pretty good shape, but I never got to my goal (stone cold fox). Partly cus I got my heart broken around that time (the easiest way to get over someone is to wrap your mouth around a platter of nachos). Partly cus I sprained my ankle. Partly cus I decided not to play football - I didn't want to kill myself.

I kinda stayed the same weight+ got a little cushion-y-er for a while. That's all gone to heifer heaven since about Summer.

I'm tired of being all portly (for me)+pouty. I was all bitchin about my stretch marks the other day. Summer is coming up (eventually)+I wanna maybe wear a bikini.

So. We'll see how this goes.

I love Guerilla Cafe. Great drinks (I highly recommend the spicy mocha+the chai latte, served in big ol' bowls), good looking food (I haven't tried anything but some pastries, but there's sweet+savory polenta dishes on the menu! yummmmm), awesome staff, activist/community-based vibe, nice ambiance.

up north with ceji.

Went to Napa, St. Helena+Calistoga on 09.25.10 with my homie Ceji. We laughed+ate. Two of my favorite things in the world.

We went to Nation's in Napa (I didn't have a chance to take any photos cus I scarfed my bacon cheeseburger - no dressing, lettuce, tomatoes - too quickly to snap a pic), played our new favorite game Sneak Into Hotels+Use Their Potties (conquered Avia Hotel), strolled Oxbow Public Market (she bought me hecka cheese!), got the tour of her schoolhouse CIA Greystone, did some shopping around, became part of a bride's scavenger hunt (they needed people with curly hair+we both have curly hair), lounged+chitchatted.

We ended our day with the brilliant idea of sprinkling some fancy salt Ceji got from Oxbow Market on some Reese's Peanut Butter Cups she had at her place+ate them with some pressed coffee. So. Deathly. DELICIOUS!

Amazing day.
